Fertility Fields Definition
- Study/Species: the unique identifer of each study population, representing different species in the database.
- AnimID: the ID of each animal (typically an abbreviated code) to unambiguously identify individuals within a study. Animals in different studies might share an AnimID (for instance, study 2 and study 5 both have an animal with AnimID = 'AFR').
- Entrydate and Entrytype: the date and type at which individuals entered their respective study populations. Possible Entrytypes include:
- B: birth
- I: immigration
- C: start of confirmed AnimID
- Q: initiation of close observation
- Startdate and Stopdate: the start end end dates of an uninterrupted period of observation on a female during which no possible births would have been missed.
- Starttype and Stoptype: see Entrytype and Departype in BIOGRAPHY; these correspond to Starttype and Stoptype in FERTILITY.
